WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) Desure Buie hit 4 of 8 3-pointers and scored 22 points with seven assists and Hofstra beat William & Mary 83-60 on Saturday for its third straight win.
Isaac Kante had 13 points with 10 rebounds for the Pride (17-7, 8-3 Colonial Athletic Association), who made 11 of 23 3-pointers 49%) and shot 53% from the field (32 of 59).
Nathan Knight scored 19 points with 16 rebounds and four assists for the Tribe (16-8, 8-3) for his 18th double-double on the season. Bryce Barnes added 11 points with two steals and Thornton Scott made five assists.
The Pride evened the season series against the Tribe with the win. William & Mary defeated Hofstra 88-61 on January 2. Hofstra matches up against Northeastern at home next Saturday. William & Mary plays College of Charleston on the road on Thursday.
