Lamine Diane had 33 points and 18 rebounds for the Matadors (13-19, 7-9). Darius Brown II added 14 points and seven rebounds. Michael Ou had 11 points.
Terrell Gomez, the Matadors' second leading scorer entering the contest at 20 points per game, failed to make a shot from the floor (0 of 7).
